Meet the Raines'!

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

We are basically equal parts of energetic, quirky, open hearted and Jesus lovin’ 💗

Our house is loud, our hands are full, and our hearts are even FULLER. Even though we are all SO different- one thing we share in common is that we LOVE fiercely and without boundaries. You’ll always here us singing the good tunes! From Waylon and Willie, to Spider-Man and Elsa, all the way to Way maker (our fav worship song)! Our family is a far cry from perfect, but together we have everything we could ever need. 💜

My handsome hubby and I met in March of 2015! We were quick to fall in love, and didn’t miss a beat.

Within one year of meeting-Casey joined the Coast Guard, we were engaged and married, plus found out our sweet Riley was on the way! We won’t go into all the details of the timeline-let’s save that for a juicy post at a later date 🤪

I will just say—never underestimate that GOD has a plan, sis! The military moved us from Florida, to Cali and Georgia, out to Virginia and back. It was a whirlwind. It gave us the security we needed to grow in our early years, and gave us friends that are more like family! With Casey’s support I started my business in early 2017, we talked long and hard about this one. But ultimately realized with our second baby on the way, child care is far too expensive to have me working out of the house. (If you are a mama I know you’re nodding your head-working just to pay for day care means I might as well stay home!) We also realized a single income (newly to the military) was sustainable. So we were  FULL STEAM ahead! 🙏🏻

It’s not always been an easy journey, and I will be so honest in telling you there have been many times we have had to work through because starting a new business was hard work!

Team work and communication. 💗

Is what has gotten us through it all. Casey is such a vital role to our business-and selflessly takes on the back end of things while I get to enjoy the fun side of it. I’ll never take him and his hard work for granted! 2020 was hard but blessed us in many ways we continue to thank God for. Casey was able to retire from the Coast Guard early, we moved back home and are currently building our dream home. He started an AMAZING business that took off...by no surprise because the man can’t sit still 🤪😂

He also has helped make sure Brandi Raines Beauty is THRIVING. Along with our newest Charcuterie business starting up! Anyone else tired reading this?! Let me be real. Our biggest accomplishment and most important role we hold is being married to each other, and raising our sweet (and sassy) Hudson and Riley! We struggle to balance some days, but try hard to remember that God always had a plan even when we are walking through times that may test us we may lean on him. 🙌🏼

Meet Riley & Hudson 👧🏻👦🏼

Riley is the kindest, most fierce 5 year old I’ve ever met. The girl loves singing about Jesus, playing with make up, and ALL the dress up trends. (she comes by it honest🙋🏻‍♀️🤪) My favorite thing about her is she will get dressed up, then go on a woods walk with daddy and rough it! I’m so proud of how sweet she is to others, and will spend every day instilling confidence and strength she can find in God!

Then there is Hudson...poor guy cannot catch a break with the nicknames. You may have heard us refer to him as: Huddy, bubba, Hud, lunk, bunk, chunk, butter...the list goes on. 🤣

Little man is as sweet hearted as they come. He staid home with me for 3 years so he may or may not be a mamas boy!😬

He loves all outside, marvel movies, and always wants a snack!

Someone once asked me why it seems like my kids never fight-that they always get along. I could only laugh and urge you to know the Raines gang is probably just like YOU! We bicker and argue like cats and dogs some days. Struggle to maintain balance some weeks. Sometimes even just wanna sit around and “lunk” (that’s what we call being lazy haha). At the end of each day we remember to pray that God’s will continue to be done through our lives, always get a good snuggle & hug, then remember tomorrow is a new day that is full of adventures for us to get into!

I want to thank you for being such a an inspiration to me! I am an ambassador under you and I haven’t gotten everything figured out yet, but I can’t wait til I do! My goal is to be at least half as good as you and I am going to keep pushing until I am and that’s all because of the encouragement and kind words you give us daily. I love you so much, like a sister, like I’ve known you forever and I haven’t even met you YET, but I’m so excited for that day to come also! I love your story and all your accomplishments! I can’t thank you enough! Keep pushing, beautiful! You ROCK!

Hi Brandi, I’m sitting here watching your videos and reading this. I have been trying to get my two daughters to give this makeup 💄 business a try. As a momma I want them to be successful and I’m not in a position to be able to do that for them. I’m currently working my butt off at goodwill Industries. I only make $8.75 an hour and paying $135.00 weekly at my sober living house, I’m struggling to make it. I Financially can’t help them. I have been sober since March 30 21, and life is beautiful but so hard. I have 5 children and 2 granddaughters. I have made some bad choices in life and that’s left me unable too leave my children with anything other then a bill should I leave this world soon. I’m trying to make sure that they make better decisions and they are. Thankful for that. I just wish my girls would give the makeup business a try. They are shy 🙈 and think they can’t do it. I believe that you could help them be successful. I share your videos with them and I would appreciate it if you could just reach out to them and maybe they just might do it. They both are mommies too. I hope 🤞 you can understand why I’m reaching out to you. I absolutely love what you do and believe in.
There names are Kylee Small and Karlee Wilson, both live in Parkersburg Wv. They are young and beautiful. I wish I could have sent a picture. Have a great day.
