You don't Need Permission To Grow

Hi loves!!
I hope you’re reading this with a warm cup of coffee that you’ve reheated three times and at least five minutes of quiet (because we all know that’s basically a luxury in mom life 😅)...

As you probably know, a huge change has happened for my company and this so exciting PLUS there is sooo much growth coming for myself, as well as all of the women on my team, that I am truly looking forward to!!

& I wanted to chat about something that has been on my heart lately— I think a lot of us feel stuck or comfortable in our lives and don't necessarily want change and/or are fearful of growth. Because we are stuck in the mindset of failing or making it a negative thing. But why aren't we thinking about what could be or the positives?! And why are we waiting for someone else to tell us to go for it?!

If you’re in a season where you feel pulled toward more — more peace, more purpose, more you — then this is for you.

Here’s your reminder for today:
You do not need permission to change your life.

Not from your family.
Not from your friends.
Not from your employees.
Not from the people who are comfortable with the “old you.”
Not even from the voice in your own head that keeps saying, “wait until the timing is better.”

Because let’s be honest — as moms, as women, as the ones who hold everything together — we are so used to putting ourselves last that the idea of changing, growing, evolving… can feel almost selfish.
But it’s not.
It’s necessary.

You’re Allowed to Outgrow Your Old Life!!

You are allowed to wake up one day and realize:
the things that used to make you happy don’t anymore
the habits that once felt normal now feel heavy
the version of you that played small doesn’t fit where you’re going
That doesn’t make you ungrateful.
That doesn’t make you “too much.”
That means you’re growing.
And growth is uncomfortable.

It looks like:
saying no when you used to say yes
going to bed earlier instead of scrolling
taking care of your body
starting the business
sharing your voice
choosing peace over people-pleasing
It looks like becoming someone your old life might not recognize.
And that’s okay.

You Don’t Have to Explain Your Glow-Up

One thing I’ve learned in this season is that not everyone will understand your shift.
When you start protecting your time
When you start setting boundaries
When you start showing up more confident
When you start taking your health, your mindset, your calling seriously
People will notice.

And sometimes they’ll question it — not because you’re doing something wrong, but because your growth highlights the places they’re staying the same.
But hear me on this:

You are not required to shrink to make other people comfortable.

You don’t need a long explanation for:
eating better
working on your goals
resting more
choosing joy
changing your routine
walking away from what drains you
Your life is allowed to look different in this next season.

Start Before You Feel Ready

We spend so much of our lives waiting:
for the kids to get older
for the schedule to slow down
for the perfect time
for more confidence
for a sign
This is your sign, friend.
You don’t need to have it all mapped out. You just need to take the next right step.

Change doesn’t happen in one big, dramatic moment.
It happens in the small, ordinary, faithful choices:
drinking the water
going on the walk
showing up for your business
opening the Bible
turning off the negative self-talk
doing the thing you said you were going to do
That’s how you build a new life.

You’re Still Her — Just Stronger

Becoming a new version of yourself doesn’t mean you’re leaving the old you behind.
You’re still the fun-loving, dance-in-the-kitchen, messy-bun, carpool-lane, Target-run mama.
You’re just:
more confident
more peaceful
more intentional
more aligned
You’re becoming the woman you needed a few years ago.
And that’s something to be proud of.

So if you’ve been feeling that little nudge in your heart — the one that says “there’s more for you” — this is me telling you to listen to it.

Change your routine.
Start the thing.
Take care of your body.
Protect your energy.
Dream bigger.
Start the business.
Show up differently.

You don’t need permission.
The only approval you need is from the version of you that’s waiting on the other side of that decision — the one who is happier, healthier, more fulfilled, and finally walking in peace.
And she’s already so proud of you for even thinking about it.

Happy Wednesday, sweet friend.
You’re allowed to grow. 💌
